Small ventures aim to sharpen solutions and boost global competitiveness
KT Corp is exploring a joint push into Southeast Asia alongside its small and mid-sized venture partners, offering support for business meetings and investor relations activities to help them strengthen their global competitiveness.
KT Corp announced Thursday that it is attending TechSource Global Summit 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand — which opened Wednesday — together with 12 partner venture companies. TechSource Global Summit is one of Southeast Asia's leading technology conferences. This year's edition features sessions on AI transformation, fintech and food technology, alongside an exhibition bringing together more than 300 companies.
The companies joining KT Corp at the event are Marsys (IPTV set-top box technology), The Pinkfong Company (film and animation content), Mokkoji (3D animation), Bepro Company (soccer video analysis), Daim Technology (physical AI autonomous manufacturing solutions) and Allganize Korea (LLM solutions).
Also participating are Dipping Source (AI-based space operations optimization), XL8 AI (AI automatic translation and interpretation), Trashbusters (reusable container rental and cleaning), Peach AI (advertising media performance measurement), Pevo (voice AX solutions) and Greylab (AI security agent).
Allganize Korea is in discussions with KT Corp about a joint entry into global markets, while XL8 AI is exploring expansion into Southeast Asia on the strength of its proprietary AI translation solution. Both companies plan to continue talks with local firms on potential business cooperation throughout the event.
KT Corp reviewed more than 300 exhibiting companies in advance and is arranging tailored meetings and providing consulting services focused on firms with the highest potential for collaboration.
In addition, KT Corp is facilitating one-on-one matching sessions between participating companies and local venture capital investors. The company is also supporting partner firms' financial stability through a mutual-growth fund and cash payment programs. To advance AI transformation and business competitiveness, KT Corp is running public-private joint technology commercialization and AX business support programs, as well as backing joint technology development.
"We are supporting our small and mid-sized venture partners in uncovering new business opportunities in the Southeast Asian market and enhancing their global competitiveness," said Kwon Hye-jin, head of KT Corp's SCM division. "We will continue to help promising small and mid-sized ventures enter overseas markets and build a sustainable ecosystem of mutual growth."
