Gyeongbuk Health College runs drone training program for Yuhan-Kimberly employees

Gyeongbuk Health College announced Sunday that it recently held a smart mobility drone training program for Yuhan-Kimberly employees at its classrooms and practice facilities on campus.

The program was designed to improve participants' drone operation skills and support them in obtaining certifications and applying drone technology in the workplace, through hands-on training that reflects changes in industry and the needs of corporate settings.

The course ran for 10 sessions totaling 30 hours.

The curriculum covered drone fundamentals, basic controls including takeoff, landing and hovering, directional maneuvering and basic flight, course navigation and attitude control, and a final review session in preparation for the certification exam.

Beyond standard flight training, the program incorporated drone soccer, aerial photography and video editing to give participants a broad understanding of how smart mobility technology can be applied across industries.

"We will continue to expand practical and certification-linked training that actively reflects industry demand, supporting corporate competitiveness and regional economic development," said Lee Eun-jik, president of Gyeongbuk Health College.
