Hanwha Ocean said Thursday it signed a contract with Yang Ming Marine Transport to build six container ships.
The deal is valued at 1.55 trillion won ($1.13 billion), equivalent to 12.1 percent of the company's 2025 sales.
The contract runs through Sept. 30, 2029.
