Lotte Home Shopping first in industry to earn facility management certification

Lotte Home Shopping announced Thursday it has become the first company in the home shopping industry to obtain the ISO 41001 facility management certification.

ISO 41001 is an international facility management standard established by ISO in 2018. It sets out requirements and procedures for efficiently operating facility management systems and processes, with the goal of continuously improving the quality of facility management services.

The company plans to continuously upgrade its facility management processes to improve operational efficiency and create a safe, comfortable environment for all building users.

"Building on this certification, we will continue to advance our facility management systems in line with international standards, and create a facility environment that our employees, customers and partners can all trust — alongside stable broadcast operations," said Kim Jae-gyeom, chief executive of Lotte Home Shopping.
