Brand unveils first showcase of annual culture project 'Fila Colore'
Fila, operated by Misto Korea, announced Thursday that it is joining Frieze Seoul 2026 as an official partner and will unveil the first exhibition of its annual culture project "Fila Colore."
Fila Colore is a yearly project that selects one color each year, drawing on Fila's color heritage and combining it with artistic and cultural elements. This year's theme is silver, inspired by the brand's signature sneaker, the Échappée Silver Moon. Fila introduced the theme earlier this year through an artist competition, then released a photo spread with pianist Son Yeol-eum that explored silver through an artistic lens.
Fila models Han So-hee, WOODZ and Cha Jeong-won attended the VIP Day held Wednesday at the Frieze Seoul 2026 exhibition venue, each wearing the Échappée Silver Moon in their own style.
Three artists — Ji Geun-uk, Kim Ki-ung and Sascha Nordmeyer — are taking part in the exhibition, presenting works that reinterpret silver through their individual perspectives and painterly languages. The exhibition space also features objects inspired by the Silver Moon.
The Fila Colore exhibition runs through Saturday at COEX Hall C·D on the third floor in Samseong-dong, Seoul, as part of Frieze Seoul. A separate curated exhibition featuring works by the three artists is planned for October at Frieze House in Sindang-dong, Seoul.
"Starting with Frieze Seoul, we will develop this into a culture project that connects a new color and the perspectives of diverse creators every year, offering a fresh way to experience Fila's heritage," a Misto Korea official said.
