Customers choose location, date and time directly
Interest, purchase timeline and questions submitted in advance
Available on Hyundai Motor and Genesis websites
Consultations available until 8 p.m. on weekdays, 6 p.m. on weekends
Hyundai Motor is introducing an online booking service that lets customers choose their preferred showroom, date and time before visiting for a purchase consultation. Previously, customers had to submit a consultation request on the website and then coordinate the schedule and location separately with a sales representative. Under the new system, customers can lock in a time slot at the booking stage itself.
Hyundai Motor announced Thursday the launch of a showroom visit consultation booking service that allows customers to designate their preferred showroom, date and time directly.
The service is available on both the Hyundai Motor and Genesis official websites. Customers can access it through the purchase consultation menu, select a showroom, choose a date and time, and enter relevant information such as the vehicle they are interested in. Both PC and mobile are supported.
Consultation hours run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
Under the previous online consultation system, customers submitted a request form and then waited for a sales representative to contact them to arrange a time and location. If schedules did not align, further coordination was required by phone or other means. The new service moves that process forward to the booking stage.
Customers can also share consultation details in advance. During the booking process, they can enter the vehicle they are interested in, their intended purchase timeline and any questions they may have.
For example, a customer who wants to focus on a specific vehicle's options or purchase conditions can submit those details ahead of the visit. Customers bringing children to the showroom, or those with particular requests, can also communicate them in advance.
Showroom staff will review the information customers submit before the visit and prepare accordingly. The aim is to strengthen the link between the online vehicle research phase and the in-person showroom consultation.
Hyundai Motor is also running a promotional event to mark the service launch. From Friday through Oct. 31, customers who book and complete a showroom consultation through the Hyundai Motor official website will be entered into a draw — 30 winners will each receive a 50,000 won ($37) fuel gift card.
During the same period, six customers who proceed to sign a vehicle purchase contract after their consultation will be selected by draw to receive a 500,000 won national tourism gift card.
"The showroom visit consultation booking service was designed so customers can receive purchase consultations more conveniently at a time and place of their choosing," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We will continue to strengthen customer touchpoints so that interest that begins online can naturally carry through to the showroom consultation and purchase experience."
