Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin have been spotted enjoying a family trip to Tokyo with their son.
Photos showing the couple visiting a restaurant district in Tokyo with their son began circulating on social media and online communities in recent days.
In the images, Son is seen placing an order at the front of a restaurant while Hyun waits behind her, tending to a stroller. Their son stands close beside his mother, his hand tucked inside her sleeve.
Despite being one of South Korea's most high-profile couples, the two dressed casually for the outing. Son wore an oversized top paired with balloon-style trousers, while Hyun sported a short-sleeved T-shirt, shorts and sunglasses, with a beard — the picture of a relaxed traveler.
The Tokyo sighting drew added attention after Hyun recently spoke on television about making time for his family.
Appearing on SBS's "Teummanyamyeon" on Tuesday, Hyun was asked about his summer vacation and said, "Since we have a child, I try to go somewhere and do something with them whenever I can." The remark was widely taken as a sign of his efforts to spend time with his family despite a busy schedule.
The Tokyo trip is far from an isolated outing — the family has been spotted at travel destinations multiple times this year. In June, they were seen vacationing in Okinawa, Japan, and last month photos emerged of the family at Disneyland in California, drawing wide attention online.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin first worked together in the 2018 film "The Negotiation" before reuniting on the tvN drama series "Crash Landing on You," where they fell in love. They married in March 2022 and welcomed a son that November.
Both have new projects on the horizon. Hyun Bin appears in Season 2 of the Disney+ original series "Made in Korea," set to premiere Wednesday, while Son returns to the sageuk genre for the first time in 24 years in the Netflix series "Scandal," premiering Sept. 18.
