A fire broke out Friday at a semiconductor factory in Gaejin-myeon, Goryeong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, at around 6:40 p.m., with firefighters working to extinguish the blaze.
According to Yonhap, the Goryeong Fire Department deployed equipment and personnel to fight the fire. Goryeong-gun sent an emergency text alert advising nearby residents to close their windows, move to a safe location and reroute their vehicles away from the area.
