Ottogi announced Tuesday it will make an early cash payment of 12.9 billion won ($9.61 million) in subcontracting fees to its suppliers.
The payment covers 22 partner companies, including original equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers and packaging firms. The disbursement will come an average of 50 days ahead of the standard promissory-note payment schedule.
"We hope the early payment helps ease the financial burden on our partners," an Ottogi official said.
