KT&G Welfare Foundation donates 150 compact cars to social welfare agencies

The KT&G Welfare Foundation held a vehicle handover ceremony at Gangdong Eoulim Welfare Center on Wednesday, donating 150 compact cars to social welfare agencies across the country.

The foundation has provided compact cars to welfare agencies nationwide since 2004. Including this latest batch, it has donated a cumulative total of 2,605 vehicles. Welfare centers equipped with electric vehicle charging facilities also received 50 electric vehicles.

"We will continue to work so that neighbors in need can receive practical benefits and support," a foundation official said.

Meanwhile, the KT&G Welfare Foundation is a social welfare corporation established by KT Corp in 2003. Operating through eight welfare centers, it provides community-based welfare services including support for low-income and marginalized groups and vehicle donations to social welfare facilities.
