365mc's liposuction solutions are generating buzz in Thailand after the clinic's Bangkok branch appeared on one of the country's most popular makeover reality programs. The company announced Tuesday that 365mc Bangkok participated in "Surgery Wars" as a featured medical provider specializing in liposuction and obesity treatment.
"Surgery Wars," which premiered in July, follows prominent plastic and aesthetic surgeons who hear participants' personal stories and help transform their appearance and lives based on each doctor's area of expertise. According to local reports, the program racked up a combined 20 million views across its official social media channels and online platforms by its second showing. After participants' transformations were revealed, content creators posted episode reviews and viewer reactions flooded in, with many asking how to apply for the next season. Coverage in several major Thai daily newspapers and medical journals followed immediately after broadcast, confirming the show's wide local impact.
Dr. Jan, the head physician of 365mc Bangkok, represented the clinic on the program. He guided participants through weight and body-shape management, leading them toward physical transformation and renewed confidence — drawing an enthusiastic response from viewers.
Adam Petchai, 27, was selected as Dr. Jan's first patient on the show. Bullied over his appearance and body shape since childhood, he said the experience left deep emotional scars that stayed with him into adulthood. He had long felt self-conscious about his prominent abdomen and chest, and said he wanted to use the program as a chance to overcome those insecurities and make a fresh start.
Through a consultation with Adam, Dr. Jan assessed his desired physique and goals, then conducted an AI-based body analysis to examine fat distribution across the chest, abdomen, waist and back. He then applied LAMS — a liposuction injection technique developed by 365mc. Rather than targeting a single area, the procedure focused on refining the overall contour of the upper body from the chest through the abdomen, flanks and back, while also addressing submental fat along the jawline.
After the procedure, Adam reappeared with a noticeably reshaped abdomen and chest, his body contours sharply defined. "His clothes fit so much better now that his body shape has changed, and you can see the confidence in his expression," the program's host said.
Adam said he was overjoyed by the results. "It feels like my whole life has changed along with my body," he said. "Before, it was so hard to balance working out with my job that I just gave up on taking care of myself." He added that he was happy to have appeared on the program and changed with 365mc's help, and expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Jan.
"With male body types, you can't expect a natural result just by reducing the waist circumference — you have to look at the fat distribution and muscle contour running from the chest through the flanks and back," Dr. Jan said. "I focused on balancing the overall upper body with Adam's specific physique and goals in mind."
The second participant, Aiya Siwa, a 23-year-old transgender woman, was not looking for simple weight loss or reduction in any one area. Her goal was to slim and define the waist and abdomen while adding volume to the hips to create a more feminine silhouette.
Thailand is widely regarded as a country with relatively high social visibility for sexual minorities, and related legal protections and medical support have been expanding in recent years. Last January, the country became the first in Southeast Asia to legalize same-sex marriage, and in the same month the National Health Security Office allocated a separate budget to cover hormone treatment and other care for approximately 200,000 transgender people.
To meet Aiya's goals, Dr. Jan chose the "Hipa-ri LAMS" procedure — a technique that harvests fat from the abdomen or thighs via LAMS and transfers it to the hip area to improve body balance and add volume. The waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) is a widely cited indicator of a feminine figure, with a ratio of roughly 0.7:1 commonly referenced as a benchmark. Using that as a guide, Dr. Jan analyzed Aiya's body shape, fat distribution and desired silhouette, then designed the procedure around the proportional relationship between her waist and hips.
When Aiya appeared in the studio after the procedure, she expressed satisfaction and pride in her new look. "A lot of people around me have been saying I look much more feminine," she said.
This "fat redistribution" approach can also be used to enhance breast contour, not just the hips. A procedure known as "Baepa-gari" transfers fat harvested from the abdomen to the breasts, using the patient's own fat to add volume and refine shape. When combined with breast implants, the transferred fat can soften the edges or upper portion of the implant, blending it naturally with surrounding tissue and helping to create a smoother breast contour.
What stands out in Aiya's case is that the LAMS procedure did not simply remove fat from one area — it redistributed that fat to where it was needed, realizing a single, cohesive body design. "Feminizing the body shape is a process of finding the silhouette the individual wants, based on their skeletal structure and fat distribution, while taking some consideration of appropriate proportions," Dr. Jan said. "In this case as well, the plan centered not on removing as much fat as possible, but on deciding where to reduce and where to add volume."
He added: "Even people of the same weight and gender have completely different concerns about their bodies and different visions of how they want to look. Going forward, I will continue to carefully assess each customer's physical characteristics and goals, and offer the most appropriate approach within what is medically possible."
