Daegu's Dalseo-gu opens enrollment for Dalseo 50 Plus Center's Q4 courses

Daegu's Dalseo-gu announced Saturday that it will accept applications for the Dalseo 50 Plus Center's fourth-quarter regular courses on a first-come, first-served basis from Monday through Wednesday.

The Dalseo 50 Plus Center offers quarterly lifelong education programs aimed at building skills and supporting self-development among adults aged 50 to 64. The fourth quarter will feature 28 courses across seven fields, including certification preparation, digital literacy, foreign languages, music and fine arts, and crafts and horticulture.

This quarter, the center has added new digital education courses designed for immediate practical use, reflecting demand from participants. Employment workshops to help the 50-to-64 age group strengthen their job-reentry skills have also been included.

The courses are open to Dalseo-gu residents between the ages of 50 and 64 and are free of charge. Applications and detailed information on individual courses are available through the Dalseo Lifelong Learning platform.

"I hope the Dalseo 50 Plus Center helps the 50-plus generation take charge of designing the second chapter of their lives," Dalseo-gu District Mayor Kim Yong-pan said. "We will continue to expand a range of tailored lifelong education programs so that residents can prepare for a healthy and fulfilling life after retirement."
