Yeosu Island Expo tickets come with aquarium discounts

Hanwha Aqua Planet Yeosu runs special promotion for island expo

Hanwha's Aqua Planet Yeosu is rolling out a special promotion and new attractions to coincide with the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo.

Visitors to Aqua Planet, located in front of Yeosu Expo Station, can catch underwater performances in the main tank and receive up to 30 percent off admission during the expo, which runs through Nov. 4.

The flagship attraction is "Secret Agent New Eve," the main-tank underwater performance that Aqua Planet bills as South Korea's first underwater performance girl group. A three-member act performs alongside AI-powered hologram visuals, with seven shows daily from 10:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.

To receive the 30 percent discount, visitors must present a physical admission ticket showing they have already attended the Yeosu World Island Expo. The discount applies to the adult admission rate at the on-site ticket booth.

Additional daily programming includes "Ocean Life Banquet," a feeding session for more than 3,000 marine creatures in the large central tank at 11:40 a.m. and 2:40 p.m., as well as ecology presentations featuring sea lions, penguins and other animals.
