Samsung Heavy Industries disclosed Monday it has signed a contract with a shipowner in Oceania to build four liquefied natural gas carriers.
The contract is valued at 1.41 trillion won ($1.05 billion), equivalent to 13.2 percent of the company's 2025 sales.
The contract runs through Sept. 28, 2029.
