Dalseong Bridge On Forum, a research group of lawmakers from Daegu's Dalseong-gun, held a kickoff briefing Tuesday on an analysis of the county's festival landscape and ways to boost its vitality.
At the session, lawmakers reviewed the operational status of major festivals in Dalseong-gun and examined successful cases from other local governments, seeking strategies to revitalize festivals that reflect the area's distinct character and residents' needs.
Kim Yi-seok, the group's lead lawmaker, said the forum would fulfill its responsibilities as a research body "to closely examine festival issues in Dalseong-gun and work toward discovering new festivals that can truly represent the county."
