Ulsan is dispatching a delegation to Niigata, Japan, from Thursday through Sunday to mark the 20th anniversary of exchanges between the two cities. Deputy Mayor Seo Nam-gyo will lead the group. The visit is a return trip following Niigata's delegation visit to Ulsan in July.

The Ulsan delegation will call on Niigata Mayor Nakahara Yaichi and take part in a series of cultural and economic exchange events, including a banquet commemorating the 20th anniversary and an "Ulsan Expo." The two sides will review the achievements of the past two decades and discuss directions for future cooperation.

"Through this visit, we will reaffirm the friendship built over the past 20 years, further strengthen the foundation for substantive civilian and economic exchanges, and convey the appeal of Ulsan to the people of Niigata through cultural performances and regional promotional events," a city official said.
