South Korea's men's 3x3 basketball team claimed the country's first-ever gold medal in the sport at the Asian Games.
The team, led by coach Bae Gil-tae, defeated Qatar 19-10 in the final held Friday at a specially constructed outdoor court at Kinjo Futo Station Square in Nagoya, Japan. It was the first time a men's 3x3 basketball team had won gold at the Asian Games.
The victory gave the South Korean delegation its 13th medal of the Games and the country's 800th all-time gold medal at the Asian Games.
