Kim Si-woo, Kim Ju-hyung split Day 3; International team leads by 3

Kim Si-woo and Kim Ju-hyung went 1-1 on Day 3 of the 2026 Presidents Cup on Sunday, helping the International team hold its lead over the United States.

The Kim Si-woo–Kim Ju-hyung pairing defeated Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark of the United States by 2 holes in the fourball session at Medina Country Club's Course 3 (par 70) in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday (Korean Standard Time).

The match was tight through the 15th hole before Kim Si-woo stepped up as the closer. He made birdie on the par-3 16th to take the lead, then sank an approximately 5-meter birdie putt on the par-4 17th to seal the win.

In the following foursome session, however, the pair fell to Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele by 2 holes — the duo's first loss of the tournament.

The International team went 1-1-2 in the four fourball matches and 2-2 in the four foursome matches on the day, adding 3.5 points. They lead the United States 10.5-7.5 overall, though the gap has narrowed to 3 points.

Im Sung-jae went 0-1-1 on the day. Paired with Australian Min Woo Lee in the fourball, the duo trailed Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivu by 2 holes through the 14th before winning the 15th and 16th consecutively to salvage a halve and earn 0.5 points.

In the foursome alongside Adam Scott of Australia, Im and his partner fell 6 down with four holes to play against Cameron Young and Chris Gotterup and lost.

On Monday, the tournament's final day, 12 singles match-play contests will pit one player from each team against the other. The first team to reach 15.5 points will claim the title.
