Available exclusively on Baemin starting Monday
Yoajeong announced Monday it is launching three new menu items in collaboration with confectionery company Orion: the Hwang Cheese Mitz Yoajeong, Hwang Cheese Mitz Bingsu and Hwang Cheese Mitz Greek Yogurt.
The new items feature Orion's Mitz Hwang Cheese, a new flavor of the Mitz snack that marks the brand's first new variety in 31 years. The hwang cheese series has spread by word of mouth for its rich, savory taste and vivid yellow color, causing repeated sellouts. The new menu pairs the flavor with Yoajeong's yogurt ice cream, shaved ice and Greek yogurt to deliver a sweet-and-salty combination.
The new items will be available exclusively through food delivery app Baemin from Monday through Sunday, with discounts offered through the app during the preview period. A full nationwide rollout across all Yoajeong stores and channels follows Oct. 5.
"Following our Dubai series and yogurt rice cake, we are excited to reinterpret the trendiest dessert flavor in the market — hwang cheese — through Yoajeong's own unique appeal," a Yoajeong official said.
