Gunwi-gun completes first phase of Samguk Yusa park golf course with 81 holes

Gunwi-gun in North Gyeongsang Province held a completion ceremony Friday for the first phase of the Gunwi Samguk Yusa Park Golf Course in Iji-ri, Uiheung-myeon.

About 200 people attended, including the county governor, the county council speaker, key guests and park golf officials.

The first phase of the Gunwi Samguk Yusa Park Golf Course covers 81 holes.

Gunwi-gun plans to add 99 more holes in a second phase, bringing the total to 180 holes.

After completion, the facility will undergo maintenance and operational preparations, run a trial period and officially open in the first half of 2027.

"We will work to make this park golf course a place that brings health and joy to residents, creates cherished memories for visitors and breathes new vitality into the region," Gunwi-gun County Governor Kim Jin-yeol said.
