Im Sung-jae surrendered sole possession of the lead at the Asian Tour's SJM Macau Open, which carries a purse of $1 million.
Playing Saturday at Macau Golf and Country Club (par 70, 6,713 yards) in Macau, China, Im managed just one birdie to finish the third round at 14 under par (206), sharing the lead with Wang Wei-hsuan of Taiwan.
Wang was the runner-up at last year's edition of the tournament, falling to Germany's Dominic Foos in a playoff.
Im had entered moving day with a three-stroke lead, but five birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey left him at 1 under for the day, allowing Wang — who carded a 4-under round — to draw level. Im had gone bogey-free through the first 36 holes but could not maintain that streak Saturday.
Im, a two-time PGA Tour winner, has yet to claim a title on the Asian Tour. He finished tied for seventh at this event last year.
Justin Quiban of the Philippines and Andy Su of China sit tied for third at 10 under par (200).
Paul Casey of England fired a 6-under 64 to move to 8 under par (202), sharing ninth place with Henrik Stenson of Sweden.
Korean American Kevin Na struggled to a 4-over 74, leaving him at 3 under par (213) and tied for 32nd alongside Lee Tae-hoon.
