South Chungcheong Province will hold the 2026 South Chungcheong Job Fair on Wednesday in partnership with the South Chungcheong Economic Promotion Agency, offering on-site interviews and employment counseling.

The fair will operate across 140 booths — including on-site hiring, employment information and career skills sections — with 73 companies from the province participating to recruit a total of 860 people.

The on-site hiring section will host one-on-one interviews and recruitment consultations between participating companies and job seekers, with each applicant receiving a 50,000 won ($37) stipend to cover interview expenses.

The employment information section will provide details on public institution hiring and introduce job support policies from universities and employment-related agencies across the province.

The career skills section will run programs to help job seekers prepare, including resume and cover letter writing consultations, mock interviews, interview image coaching, aptitude and career assessments, and professional headshot photography.

Alongside this, the fair will feature a motivational lecture by Kang Seong-tae, known for the self-study brand "Gongbu-ui Shin," as well as recruitment information sessions led by current employees from Inspire Resort and Nike, offering insights into job preparation and company and role details.

South Chungcheong Province Political Vice Governor Gu Bon-yeong said he hoped the fair would give companies a chance to find the talent they need while helping job seekers identify opportunities that match their abilities. "We will continue to do our best to closely connect businesses and job seekers and provide residents with real employment opportunities," Gu said.
