This month's dosirak tied to K-Sale Festa; stamp event offers hotel stays as prizes
GS25, the convenience store chain operated by GS Retail, announced Wednesday it is launching a K-Sale Festa dosirak this month to coincide with the K-Sale Festa campaign, bundling in discount coupons for Amorepacific's Amoremall shopping platform and fashion platform Musinsa.
Each dosirak comes with a one-month free trial of Amoremall's paid membership, valued at 3,900 won, and a 3,000-won discount coupon — a combined benefit worth 6,900 won. A separate 5,000-won coupon redeemable at Musinsa's offline stores nationwide is also included.
The dosirak features grilled ham, spicy stir-fried pork, rolled egg omelet and sausage with vegetables, along with dried squid, radish namul, soy-braised fish cake and stir-fried kimchi as banchan. The rice portion has been increased 50 percent to 300 grams from the previous 200 grams. The dosirak is priced at 6,900 won.
GS25 is also running a prize event. Customers who purchase the dosirak using GS Pay and enter the stamp event become eligible for prizes. First prize is a stay at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas with two-person access to the Westin Club. Second prize is a weekday stay at Ananti Busan with breakfast for two, and third prize is a weekday stay at Solhaeone with sauna access for two. Additional prizes include Cafe25 Americano drinks and 500-milliliter bottled water.
GS25 is also expanding its private-brand lineup under the "Real Price" label. On Thursday, it will release two kalguksu noodle products — Real Kalguksu and Real Spicy Kalguksu — each priced at 2,900 won. Real Juicy Xiaolongbao will be available for 2,000 won.
"We plan to continue collaborating with a wide range of industries to expand customer benefits while offering products with reasonable prices and quality," said Song Ji-yong, a manager on GS25's promotions team.
Meanwhile, GS The Fresh is also participating in the campaign, holding weekly promotional events throughout the period with discounts of up to 50 percent on fresh produce and packaged goods.
