Super Junior's Shindong turns heads with slimmed-down look after losing 37 kg

Super Junior member Shindong has drawn attention with his noticeably transformed appearance following a significant weight loss.

A preview clip released Tuesday on the YouTube channel TEO's web entertainment show Salon Drip teased upcoming appearances by broadcaster Jang Dong-min and Shindong.

Shindong's slimmed-down figure was particularly striking in the footage. Dressed in a brown knit top paired with a white shirt, he sported a cropped hairstyle, a sharper jawline and a more defined facial contour, projecting a distinctly different look.

Shindong previously made headlines when he revealed he had lost about 37 kilograms in roughly five months through dieting.

He initially tried an obesity medication but stopped after seeing little change, then shifted to improving his lifestyle habits to lose the weight.

Meanwhile, the new Netflix entertainment program "Devil's Plan: Dead Again," featuring both Jang and Shindong, premieres Nov. 10.
