Ministry of Interior and Safety, Ministry of Health and Welfare to hold 4th 'Forum for All' at Kintex on Nov. 26
150 public participants to be recruited through Nov. 13; online submissions also accepted
The Ministry of Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced Wednesday they will hold the 4th "Forum for All" on Nov. 26 at Kintex in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, under the theme "Finding Connected Solutions to Social Isolation."
Held in conjunction with the 2026 Korea Government Innovation Expo, the forum aims to go beyond conventional welfare support by building new social networks that citizens can feel in their daily lives and developing a model for stronger community ties. Unlike previous editions of the Forum for All, which largely asked participants to weigh in for or against specific lifestyle policies, this event will move from expert presentations into group discussions and floor debates, culminating in participants drafting their own policy proposals and selecting the most representative ones through a public vote.
The Ministry of Interior and Safety will recruit 150 members of the general public to attend, accepting applications through Nov. 13 via its official website or through Modoo Gwangjang, the government's online public-engagement platform.
Selected participants will review preparatory materials in advance before joining on-site discussions with experts to work out practical measures.
Ahead of the in-person forum, the ministry will also gather public input online. Anyone can submit views on social isolation freely through Modoo Gwangjang, and the opinions collected online will be shared at the in-person event.
Full details on how to apply and the event schedule are available on Modoo Gwangjang.
