623 units ranging from 84 to 111 square meters
Special supply Monday, first-priority subscriptions Tuesday
The model home for Pyeongtaek Godeok Woomilin The Premier, a new apartment complex being developed by a Woomi Construction consortium in the Godeok International Planning District of Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, opens Friday.
The complex will rise across eight buildings with two below-ground floors and up to 23 above-ground floors, comprising 623 units in total. The unit mix consists of 400 units at 84 square meters, 79 units at 94 square meters, 129 units at 101 square meters and 15 units at 111 square meters (all exclusive use area).
The project follows Pyeongtaek Godeok Woomilin Prestige, which has already completed its pre-sale. Together, the two complexes will form a Woomilin brand town of 1,366 units.
Apartment subscriptions open Monday for special supply, Tuesday for first priority and Wednesday for second priority. Winners will be announced Nov. 17, with contract signings running for three days from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1.
First-priority subscriptions are open to applicants nationwide, regardless of place of residence, provided they hold a housing subscription account of at least 12 months and meet the deposit requirements for their region and unit size.
The Godeok International Planning District serves as the residential hinterland of Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus. The new Pyeongtaek City Hall and city council are planned to relocate to a site directly across from the complex, and land designated for commercial, medical and office use is also planned nearby.
On the education front, Godeok Elementary School No. 8 (tentative name) is set to open in September 2028, and Godeok Middle School No. 6 (tentative name) in March 2029. An international school on the Godeok International School site — to be operated by Annie Wright Schools, a private American institution — is targeting a 2030 opening.
Transport links are strong. Residents will have access to Seojeongni Station and Pyeongtaek Jije Station on Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1, the Pyeongtaek Godeok interchange on the Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway, and the Eoyeon interchange on the Pyeongtaek-Hwaseong Expressway. Broader regional connectivity projects are also underway, including a direct KTX link from Suwon, extensions of GTX Lines A and C, and a planned bus rapid transit route.
The complex is designed to keep vehicles off the ground level by placing all parking below ground, with the exception of neighborhood convenience facilities. The 94- and 111-square-meter units will feature open-style balconies, and community amenities will include a fitness center, golf practice range, reading room and indoor playground.
Indoor air quality systems — including a clean-air supply and exhaust system along with fine dust and carbon dioxide sensors — will also be installed. Samsung C&T's home platform Homniq and a door lock that lets parents check whether their children have arrived home are also planned. Move-in is scheduled for May 2029.
Meanwhile, according to real estate platform Zigbang, 44,358 apartment units are set to go on pre-sale nationwide this month. Gyeonggi Province, including Pyeongtaek, accounts for 11,275 units — roughly 57 percent of the 19,851 units slated for the greater Seoul metropolitan area.
