Gyeyang-gu in Incheon has finalized 39 participatory budget projects worth a combined 393 million won ($293,000) to be included in the district's 2027 main budget.
The district office announced Thursday that it had reviewed 58 proposals that cleared an initial screening and selected projects directly tied to residents' daily lives and safety.
Among the approved projects is one youth safety proposal submitted through a traveling participatory budget school program for teenagers.
The district office plans to publish the full list of selected projects on its website soon.
