Korea Environment Corporation to hold event at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, from June 9–11, 2027; 10% discount for applicants who pay deposit by Dec. 28
Korea Environment Corporation began accepting applications Friday afternoon for the 48th International Environmental Industry Technology & Green Energy Exhibition, known as ENVEX 2027.
Launched in 1979, ENVEX is South Korea's longest-running and largest trade fair dedicated to environmental and decarbonization industries. This year's edition drew companies from 26 countries — 316 in total — and attracted more than 46,000 visitors, generating 806.8 billion won ($601 million) in business consultations.
The 2027 show will run June 9–11 at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Organizers plan to help participating companies break into domestic and overseas markets by centering the event on procurement and investment consultations and supporting the invitation of overseas buyers.
On the domestic side, the fair will host a procurement consultation session bringing together major buyers — including public institutions and private engineering firms — with exhibitors given priority access. A venture capital investment consultation session and free intellectual property advisory services linked to the Korea Intellectual Property Office will also be available to help companies attract funding and protect their rights. Exhibitors will additionally have opportunities to present their technology at seminars and to promote their products through media and social media channels.
To support overseas market entry, the fair will run an overseas environmental market briefing session and a business-to-government advisory consultation for companies seeking to enter developing-country environmental markets, providing information on promising markets and local market-entry strategies to help small and midsize green companies expand their export reach.
For overseas buyers directly invited by exhibitors, organizers plan to cover airfare, accommodation and interpretation costs to facilitate substantive business consultations and help generate export results.
Meanwhile, Global Green Hub Korea, co-organized by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute and KOTRA, will be held concurrently with ENVEX 2027. The joint event is expected to expand opportunities for exhibitors to connect with overseas project owners and participate in international environmental projects.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the ENVEX website. The application period runs from Friday through Dec. 28. Companies that pay a deposit — 50 percent of the participation fee — within that window will receive a 10 percent discount on the total fee.
"For superior green technologies to take root in the market, it is crucial that they have opportunities to meet the buyers and investors who need them," said Oh Ba-o-ro, head of the environmental business division at Korea Environment Corporation. "We will support small and midsize green companies in finding new business opportunities in domestic and overseas markets through ENVEX, and in turning their technological competitiveness into procurement, investment and export results."
