Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's daughter Madison cancels South Korea visit, citing family reasons

Madison Huang, senior director of product marketing for Nvidia's Omniverse and robotics division and the eldest daughter of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, has canceled her planned visit to South Korea.

According to government and IT industry sources Saturday, Huang had been scheduled to arrive Sunday to attend "Nvidia AI Day Seoul 2026," set to run Monday through Tuesday at COEX in Seoul, and to hold consultations with relevant government ministries.

Huang called off the trip for family reasons, sources said, though no further details were disclosed.

Some in the industry have raised the possibility that recent foreign media reports alleging ties between Chinese espionage and people close to Jensen Huang may have played a role in the cancellation.

Despite her absence, the Nvidia AI Day event is expected to proceed as scheduled.
