'Children's Day Drawn With Dooly' runs May 5 and on weekends and public holidays May 9–25
Sing-along performances, hands-on programs and a drawing photo zone among highlights
Dooly Museum, operated by the Dobong Culture Foundation in Dobong-gu, Seoul, will host a family-oriented cultural event called "Children's Day Drawn With Dooly" in celebration of Children's Day and Family Month.
The event runs on Children's Day, May 5, and then every weekend and public holiday from May 9 through May 25 at the museum. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The program brings together performances, hands-on activities and exhibitions for children and families. A sing-along performance featuring the beloved baby dinosaur character invites visitors to sing and dance along, while interactive programs draw on Dooly content and a drawing photo zone lets visitors participate directly.
Alongside this, the event will feature "A Precious Promise," an immersive exhibition based on an environmental picture book for children, as well as a screening of a documentary on cartoonist Kim Su-jeong tied to a German comics festival.
Dooly Museum designed the event so children can naturally engage with performances, activities and exhibitions through familiar character content, with programming centered on experiences the whole family can enjoy together.
"We prepared the event by linking performances, hands-on activities and exhibitions so children and families can enjoy them together," museum director Ju Sang-ho said. "We will do our best to ensure that all visitors can participate safely and happily."
