The Belgian Meat Office (BMO) will participate in Seoul Food & Hotel 2026, to be held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, from June 9 to 12.
During the event, BMO will host a delegation of Belgian meat exporters at booth 4B801, presenting Belgium's pork production and quality control systems to Korean food industry professionals. Product consultations and business meetings will also take place on site.
Seoul Food & Hotel is a specialized food industry exhibition bringing together food manufacturers, importers, retailers and foodservice professionals. Participating companies use the event to showcase their products and services and to network with industry contacts.
Belgium currently exports pork to more than 70 countries and operates an integrated production system covering feed supply, animal husbandry, processing, packaging and export. The country also manages food safety through stage-by-stage quality controls and a traceability system.
Belgian meat exporters taking part in the exhibition include Bens NV, Danis Pork Masters, Debra-Group, Delavi NV, G. Van Landschoot & Zonen N.V., Noordvlees Group and Sus Campiniae, all of which plan to hold consultations with Korean buyers.
"Seoul Food & Hotel is an opportunity to meet Korean food industry professionals in person," a BMO official said. "We plan to hold a wide range of exchanges and consultations throughout the exhibition."
BMO operates under VLAM, the Flemish agricultural and fisheries marketing board of Belgium, and is responsible for promoting Belgian pork and supporting its exports overseas.
