Shinsegae Casaa skips 'half-price war,' offers targeted deals on Campo, Materasso

Shinsegae Casaa is holding a "first-half wrap-up" sale featuring popular Casamia and Materasso products that drew strong customer response in the first half of the year. The promotion offers discounts, free gifts and gift vouchers on sofas, dining furniture, bedroom furniture, mattresses and motion beds.

The company announced Tuesday that the sale will run from Wednesday through July 19, bringing together top products from both the Casamia and Materasso brands.

Casamia is centering its offers on the bestselling Campo sofa series. Customers who purchase the premium massage recliner "Campo Rest" will receive a dedicated rug as a gift. The beige version of the "Campo Goose 50 Recliner" — upgraded with new interior materials and a new cover — is discounted 15 percent, while the "Campo Luxe," made with high-end linen fabric and premium filling, is on sale at 10 percent off.

Leather sofas are also part of the promotion. The "Carmo" sofa is available at 15 percent off for general customers and 20 percent off for members of the wedding and move-in club. Customers who purchase the "Basel" or "Basto" sofas from June 15 through June 30 will receive gift vouchers based on the amount spent.

Dining furniture will also be offered at special prices. Customers who buy sets from popular dining series — including "Pomelo," "Bote" and "Erne" — between July 1 and Aug. 2 can receive a 15 percent discount. Those who spend 2 million won ($1,320) or more from June 15 through June 30 will receive gift vouchers. The "Carne" dining line will be discounted 20 percent on individual purchases throughout the sale period.

Bedroom and dressing room furniture deals are also on offer. The premium leather bed "Carmo Bed" is discounted 15 percent on individual purchases and up to 30 percent when bought as a package. Customers who purchase the modular open shelving system "New Robe" will receive gift vouchers based on the amount spent.

Premium sleep brand Materasso is discounting its mattresses and the motion bed "Le Move." Individual mattress purchases are eligible for up to 25 percent off, and buyers will also receive a waterproof cover along with a high-quality cotton bedding set scaled to their purchase amount.

"We planned this promotion to show our appreciation to customers who have loved Casamia and Materasso, by focusing on the popular products that received a strong response in the first half of the year," a Shinsegae Casaa official said.
