Samsung Display teams up with Nvidia to showcase high-end gaming displays at Computex 2026

Samsung Display announced Tuesday it is partnering with Nvidia at Computex 2026 — Asia's largest IT trade show — to present an OLED and QD-OLED gaming experience. The company is also running a visual experience zone at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

To demonstrate the graphics experience produced by Nvidia's GPU alongside its OLED and QD-OLED displays, Samsung Display is exhibiting Asus's latest laptop, the ROG Zephyrus G16, and MSI's latest monitor, the MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24. Both products feature Samsung Display panels and support the gaming performance of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5080 GPU.

Samsung Display said it set up the exhibition so visitors can see for themselves which display most faithfully delivers the performance of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 Series by comparing the same game side by side on OLED and LCD.

Visitors can experience Nvidia's GPU and Samsung Display panels through Pragmata, Capcom's sci-fi action-adventure game set on a lunar base. Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50 Series renders graphics with lifelike realism through path tracing — which calculates the movement of light within a scene — and Deep Learning Super Sampling 4.5, an AI-based technology that enhances both performance and image quality.

Samsung's OLED and QD-OLED panels reproduce high-end graphics exactly as their creators intended, deepening user immersion, the company said. As self-emissive displays, OLED and QD-OLED deliver high contrast ratios and perfect black reproduction, producing sharp image quality even against dark backgrounds. They also offer faster response times than LCD, which requires liquid-crystal switching time, allowing hundreds of frames per second to be rendered without motion blur.

"In environments driven by the latest GPUs, real-time light reflection, shadow rendering and HDR effects become far more sophisticated, making the difference in display performance all the more apparent," said Kim Young-seok, senior vice president of IT sales at Samsung Display. "Samsung OLED and QD-OLED are the displays that most faithfully reproduce GPU performance, and we will continue to expand our partnerships with big-tech companies to demonstrate their value in the premium IT market."
