Im Sung-jae sits 20th after Round 3 of PGA Tour Memorial Tournament

Im Sung-jae kept his top-10 hopes alive at the PGA Tour Memorial Tournament ($20 million purse) by recording eagles on consecutive days.

Playing through the 15th hole (par 5) of the third round at Muirfield Village Golf Club (par 72) in Dublin, Ohio, on Sunday, Im carded one eagle, three birdies and four bogeys for a 1-under-par round in progress.

Play was suspended due to severe weather, and the remaining holes of the third round will be completed ahead of Sunday's final round.

Im had shared 19th place through two rounds but slipped to a share of 20th during the third round. He sits just one stroke behind the group tied for 12th and two off the group tied for ninth, leaving a top-10 finish well within reach depending on how the remaining holes play out.

Im opened with a birdie on the third hole (par 4) but gave back strokes with three consecutive bogeys from the fourth through the sixth. He dropped another shot on the eighth (par 3) after his tee shot veered sharply left. The turning point came on the 11th (par 5), where Im reached the green in two and drained a 1.3-meter eagle putt to swing the momentum — his second eagle in as many days after recording one in Saturday's second round.

Unlike Saturday, when a double bogey immediately followed his eagle, Im stayed focused this time. He stuck his approach to within 1.7 meters on the 14th (par 4) to convert a birdie, then added another on the 15th to keep the momentum going.

The weather suspension left Im with three holes unplayed — a frustrating halt given that he had clearly found his rhythm.

Kim Si-woo, who teed off in the morning local time, completed all 18 holes, posting a 3-under-par 69 with four birdies and one bogey for a third-round total of 1-over-par 217. He climbed from a share of 38th after two rounds to a share of 24th.

J.T. Poston and Ryan Gerard, both of the United States, share the lead at 9 under par through five holes each.

Sam Burns (United States) sits alone in third at 8 under through six holes, while Eric Cole (United States) moved to sole fourth at 6 under through six.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (United States) and No. 2 Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland) are tied for 12th at 1 under par, with Scheffler through 14 holes and McIlroy through the 16th (par 3).
