Facility spans 1,903 square meters across three above-ground floors, with eight work bays

Dedicated personal service advisers and customer lounge enhance convenience
Volvo Car Korea has expanded its service footprint targeting customers in southeastern Seoul and southeastern Gyeonggi Province, moving to cut maintenance wait times and improve accessibility amid growing demand from Volvo drivers in the greater Seoul metropolitan area.
The company announced Monday it is expanding operations at the Volvo Songpa Hanam Service Center, run by Kolon Automotive, an official Volvo Car Korea dealer.
The center sits along a main road in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, adjacent to Songpa-gu in Seoul. Its location makes it easily reachable for customers in southeastern Seoul as well as those in Hanam, Seongnam and Gwangju.
The facility has also grown in scale. The center occupies a three-story building with a total floor area of 1,903.18 square meters — roughly 576 pyeong (1 pyeong equals 3.3 square meters). The number of work bays has been increased from five to eight, allowing the center to handle up to 810 vehicles per month under standard repair conditions.
Volvo Car Korea said the expansion aims to improve both service speed and overall quality. In the imports market, post-sale service accessibility and wait times are widely regarded as key factors in customer satisfaction with a brand.
The center also offers the "Volvo Personal Service" program, which pairs each customer with a dedicated service technician. The program provides tailored consultations and maintenance management based on each vehicle's condition and service history.
Customer amenity spaces have been added as well. The center features a lounge designed to reflect the Swedish brand's aesthetic, and the facility is equipped with a solar canopy for eco-friendly energy use.
To mark the expansion, Volvo Car Korea is running a promotional event for visiting customers. All visitors will receive a complimentary vehicle inspection and a Volvo reusable bag. Customers who spend 500,000 won (about $324) or more on paid repairs will receive a Volvo tumbler, and those who purchase two or more tires will receive a 10 percent discount. Gifts are available while supplies last and may be substituted or discontinued early if stocks run out.
"We expanded the Volvo Songpa Hanam Service Center to bring Volvo's attentive care and premium service to more customers across southeastern Seoul and southeastern Gyeonggi Province," Volvo Car Korea President Lee Yun-mo said. "We will continue to strengthen our nationwide service network to deliver a differentiated experience that meaningfully improves convenience for our customers."
