Daegu seeks applicants for model apartment complex management program

Daegu city government announced Monday it is accepting applications for its 2026 Model Apartment Complex Management program, aimed at identifying exemplary management practices and fostering a cooperative community culture in apartment complexes across the city.

Eligible applicants are apartment complexes subject to mandatory management requirements under the Multi-Family Housing Management Act.

A dedicated evaluation panel will assess each applicant based on its management record over the past year.

The review covers four areas: general management, facility safety and maintenance, community vitalization, and recycling and energy conservation.

This year, greater weight will be placed on efforts to prevent inter-floor noise and resolve conflicts between neighbors.

Complexes wishing to apply may submit applications in person at the architecture department of the relevant district or county office for one month, from July 1 through July 31.

Complexes selected as model management sites will receive a plaque and a commemorative bronze plate, and the city will recommend them for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Outstanding Apartment Complex Management" designation.
