All staff gather Monday for integrity and anti-gapjil declaration event
The Korea Arboretum and Garden Management Institute, an agency under the Korea Forest Service, held an "Integrity Innovation and Gapjil Prevention Declaration and Practice" event Monday at the Jincheon General Sports Center in North Chungcheong Province, with all staff in attendance.
At the event, employees pledged to build a healthier and more transparent workplace culture grounded in mutual respect and consideration.
The institute has been pursuing a range of initiatives to promote integrity and prevent gapjil — including a Mutual Respect Day program and a mobile ethics and audit office — and plans to continue expanding related policy efforts.
"Integrity and ethics are the foundation of public trust," said Shim Sang-taek, president of the Korea Arboretum and Garden Management Institute. "We will build a healthier and more transparent organizational culture based on mutual respect and consideration."
