Solstice has signed a strategic partnership with ApexE3 and Tensorix to jointly develop an AI infrastructure financing project, the company announced.
The collaboration aims to link financial services needed for AI infrastructure development with AI operating environments. As part of the effort, the three companies unveiled aiUSX, a digital asset designed to support AI-related fund management.
The partnership draws on Solstice's on-chain credit and treasury management solutions, ApexE3's AI platform, and Tensorix's data-non-retentive AI inference cloud technology.
Growing interest in data sovereignty and privacy has brought sovereign AI into focus as a new infrastructure model. Tensorix provides a private AI environment in which data is not stored externally, and ApexE3 is building an AI platform ecosystem on that foundation.
Building AI infrastructure requires large-scale investment, including GPU procurement. Solstice plans to use an on-chain financial structure to support financing for GPU purchases and infrastructure expansion.
aiUSX is a digital asset designed to help AI companies manage and deploy operating funds. Companies can manage working capital through it while directing resources toward AI infrastructure development and operations as needed.
Solstice said it is focused on building an AI infrastructure financing ecosystem, expecting financial demand in the sector to grow alongside the broader AI industry.
"As companies expand their use of AI, infrastructure operating costs are rising," CEO Ben Nadareski said. "aiUSX is a solution designed to support AI-related fund management and link it to infrastructure financing."
Meanwhile, the three companies are also exploring the use of USX and SLX as payment instruments for AI agents within the ApexE3 and Tensorix ecosystems. Through this, they plan to build an on-chain payment framework covering AI inference services and a range of other AI services.
