Coupang Inc.'s logistics arm, Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS), has signed a partnership with Inha Technical College to develop skilled logistics workers. The two sides signed an MOU on "logistics technology talent development and regional employment expansion" on June 5 at the college in Michuhol-gu, Incheon.
The agreement aims to build an industry-academia cooperation model that links education directly to hiring, training workers who can be deployed immediately to logistics sites. Under the partnership, both parties will develop field-ready technical talent through hands-on training in forklift operation and order picker equipment — high-reach machinery used in warehouse logistics.
Training sessions will run intensively during the summer break, with graduates placed at Coupang logistics sites on a rolling basis. Park Soo-hyun, CFS chief human resources officer, said the agreement "lays the groundwork for cultivating field-ready technical talent while securing promising college students early." CFS will also hold a "CFS Hiring Festa" at Inha Technical College on June 23, offering a range of work arrangements including three-day weeks, weekend shifts and short-hour schedules.
