The 2026 Seoul Climate Tech Conference runs June 25-26 at DDP under the theme 'Climate Tech for Building Resilient Cities with AI'; pre-registration open through Monday; one-on-one business meetups available for participating companies
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Thursday that pre-registration and one-on-one business meetup applications are now open for the 2026 Seoul Climate Tech Conference, set to run June 25-26 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
The conference theme is "Climate Tech for Building Resilient Cities with AI." Pre-registration runs through Monday. Attendees who participate in a comment event — submitting questions for the climate tech talk concert — will be entered into a raffle for eco-friendly products, including a sustainable tumbler, an eco bag and a cycling keyring. Those who miss the pre-registration deadline may still attend via on-site registration on the day of the event.
Companies applying for one-on-one meetups will receive customized scheduling based on their investment stage and technology sector, though slots may close early once matching capacity is reached. Participating firms will also have access to one-on-one business matching with venture capital firms and investment institutions, networking opportunities with exhibiting companies through a dedicated lounge, and follow-up meeting support after the meetup sessions. More than 20 consulting organizations have already confirmed participation, including the Seoul Regional Office of Procurement Service and Aju IB Investment.
On June 25, broadcaster Lee Jin-woo of SamproTV will join a talk concert centered on the question "How did you come to found a climate tech AI company?" AI-driven climate tech startups Filernier and Dure Farm, along with the Seoul Climate Tech Industry Support Center, will share stories about climate technology in everyday life and the motivations behind their ventures.
A separate session titled "From Startup to Listing: Climate Tech Taking Off" will feature founders and executives sharing their experiences and insights from the early stages of building a company through to growth.
The 2026 Seoul Climate Tech Conference is free and open to anyone with an interest in the environment. Pre-registration and meetup applications are available on the conference website, which also lists the full schedule, speaker information and details on participating companies.
Noh Su-im, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Climate and Environment Policy Division, said the city had created "a forum to discuss how climate tech is evolving — and where it is headed — in an era of industrial transformation driven by AI."
