BBQ moves up app orders to 8 a.m. for World Cup matches, offers 4,000-won discount

BBQ said it will move up its app order start time to 8 a.m. and roll out a series of promotions timed to World Cup viewing demand.

On days when the national team plays — June 12, June 19 and June 25 — customers can place orders through the BBQ app starting at 8 a.m. Every Friday, the chain will also run a "Black Pride Day" event offering a 4,000-won discount on orders of Golden Olive Chicken or Hot Crispy Chicken through the app.

A daily "BBQ Open Run" promotion runs every morning at 11 a.m. The first 1,000 customers to order chicken through the BBQ app each day will receive a half-portion of Golden Olive Chicken, while a separate group of 1,000 customers will receive a random cheese ball set of 10.

A "Variety Pack" promotion runs through June 25. Customers who order chicken through the BBQ app between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. the following morning will receive one free item from the following: a half-portion of Golden Olive Chicken, a random cheese ball set of 10, BBQ tteokbokki or BBQ french fries.

Also through June 25, BBQ will hold a daily "100-won Deal" lottery via the app, drawing 10 winners each day who can purchase a Golden Olive Chicken for 100 won.
