Woomi Construction opens model home for Pyeongtaek Godeok Woomi Lin Prestige this month

A Woomi Construction consortium announced Friday the opening of the model home for Pyeongtaek Godeok Woomi Lin Prestige, launching the apartment subscription process in earnest.

The complex sits on block Abc-36 of the Godeok International Planning District in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. It comprises 11 buildings rising from two basement levels to 20 above-ground floors, offering 743 units across four types — 84, 94, 101 and 111 square meters in exclusive use area. The complex is designed primarily in a four-bay flat-plate layout and features open balconies in applicable units.

Subscriptions open with the special supply on Monday, followed by first-priority applications on Tuesday and second-priority on Wednesday. Successful applicants will be announced June 23, with the formal contract period running from July 5 to July 7.

The complex falls under the pre-sale price cap system. To qualify for first-priority subscription, applicants must hold a housing subscription account for at least 12 months and meet the deposit requirements for their region and unit size. Applicants anywhere in the country are eligible to apply regardless of where they live.

The Godeok International Planning District is widely regarded as the primary residential hub supporting Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus. An administrative town — to which Pyeongtaek City Hall and the city council are slated to relocate — is planned within the district, as is an international school under a memorandum of agreement Pyeongtaek signed with Annie Wright Schools of the United States.

Residents will also have easy access to a planned cultural park within the district and Hambaksan Central Park nearby. Cultural facilities including the Pyeongtaek Arts Center, a city museum and a central library are also planned for the area. An elementary school and a middle school are planned adjacent to the complex.

The complex offers strong access to Seoul and the greater metropolitan area via SRT high-speed rail at Pyeongtaek Jije Station, Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 1 at Seojeongni and Pyeongtaek Jije stations, and the Pyeongtaek Godeok interchange. Regional connectivity is expected to improve further with planned expansions including KTX service originating from Suwon, a Great Train Express (GTX) line extension and a bus rapid transit route.

Meanwhile, Woomi Construction posted consolidated revenue of 1.8053 trillion won (approximately $1.18 billion) and operating profit of 249 billion won last year.
