Fifth international school FSAA picks up pace; 503 units ready for immediate move-in, five minutes from English Education City
Construction of the fifth international school at Jeju Global Education City has kicked into high gear, stoking fresh interest in nearby residential developments. Hanwha Construction's Hanwha Forena Jeju EduCity, currently on pre-sale near the education zone, has emerged as a standout option for prospective buyers.
According to the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC), Fulton Science Academy Atherton (FSAA) held its groundbreaking ceremony at Jeju Shinhwa World on April 28. FSAA is the first global campus of Fulton Science Academy (FSA), a private school based in Atlanta, Georgia. The school is set to operate as a STEM-focused private institution. It plans to hold an online information session in the third quarter of this year, an official admissions briefing in August 2027, and aims to open in August 2028.
Hanwha Forena Jeju EduCity sits in Boseong-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju, and comprises 29 buildings ranging from one below-ground floor to five above-ground floors. Exclusive use areas run from 84 to 210 square meters across a total of 503 units. Construction is complete and units are available for immediate move-in.
The complex is a five-minute drive from Jeju Global Education City, and a shuttle bus operates within the development to support school commutes and daily travel. Four international schools — SJA Jeju, NLCS Jeju, BHA and KIS Jeju — currently operate within the education city. The student enrollment rate for the 2024–2025 academic year stood at 83.2 percent, and more than 90 percent of 2024 graduates went on to universities abroad.
The complex also offers strong lifestyle amenities. Community facilities include a golf training center, fitness center, group exercise room, guesthouse and reading room. Particularly notable is an indoor lounge equipped with TrackMan, a golf analysis system the developer says is the first of its kind installed in an apartment complex in South Korea. TrackMan, used on the PGA Tour and other professional circuits, employs radar and high-speed cameras to analyze shot distance, ball trajectory and spin rate, as well as swing path and club head speed.
