The Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA), led by President Kim Won-sup, signed a memorandum of understanding with Naver Corp., headed by CEO Choi Su-yeon, on Tuesday to promote golf lesson products on Naver Place.
Under the agreement, the KPGA will inform its members about Naver Place golf lesson products through the association's official channels and help those who wish to participate connect smoothly with lesson offerings on the Naver platform. Naver will review its overall service operations to make it easier for KPGA members to register and display their information, and will work with the KPGA to refine its guidance systems and operational processes.
"In an environment where online reservations and searches have become part of daily life, it is significant that a credible channel has opened through which KPGA members can reach the public more easily and transparently," KPGA President Kim said.
A Naver official said the partnership would allow the company to provide users with information on lessons from professional golfers through its official collaboration with the KPGA, which represents men's professional golf in South Korea.
