Lalal confesses to smoking two packs of e-cigarettes a day until just before pregnancy

YouTuber and broadcaster Lalal has opened up about her smoking habit before her pregnancy.

A video titled "Co-parenting of an elephant and a hippo: Lalal & Pungja's story fest" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Pungja TV" on Monday.

That day, Pungja visited Lalal's home, where the two shared a meal and talked about parenting and married life.

"When I think of the old Yura, it's still surreal to see you now," Pungja said. "You're such a people person and so active — I never thought parenting would suit you, but you're actually doing so well." She added, "I still find it so strange that you had a baby. It's just weird." Lalal replied, "I find it strange too. Every day feels like a dream."

Pungja also remarked on the changes in Lalal, saying, "Lalal has quit drinking and smoking — she just stopped cold turkey." Lalal responded candidly, "I was smoking two packs of e-cigarettes a day right up until just before I got pregnant. Quitting drinking has been really hard."

"Seeing her makes me think marriage really does change a person," Pungja said. "It makes me want to get married."

Lalal also brought up her weight gain. She said she had not been drinking beer before but started having a can a day because soju felt too heavy and she had to wake up early. "It became a daily thing, and I put on a lot of weight," she said.

Pungja quipped, "You might not even notice if you got pregnant with a second one," to which Lalal said with a laugh, "A lot of people have been asking if I went on a full-term travel trip for a second baby."

Lalal married a non-celebrity man 11 years her senior in 2024 and has a daughter.
