Actor Oh Yeon-seo, 39, on still living with parents: 'It's not that I won't marry — I can't'

Actor Oh Yeon-seo, 39, opened up about why she continues to live with her parents.

Oh and comedian Kim Gyu-won appeared as guests on Monday's episode of the SBS variety show Ani Geunde Jinja!

Oh drew attention when she described her ideal partner. "Someone warm and funny," she said, prompting co-host Tak Jae-hoon to pitch himself as a candidate. When Oh listed laziness as one of her flaws, Tak quipped that he could "lie around all day," drawing laughs from the panel.

The conversation turned to marriage. Lee Sang-min asked Oh why she had not moved out and still lived with her parents, to which she replied, "I've tried living on my own before, but living together is just more comfortable."

Tak then asked whether her parents ever pressed her to get married. Oh said her parents had given up on the idea. "It's not that I won't get married — I can't," she said. "I like staying home and I just don't have opportunities to meet anyone."

Kim Gyu-won asked whether she would consider meeting a homebody like herself, and Oh said she had no way to get set up through introductions.

Tak played along, pretending to be a blind date by greeting her with a formal "Hello," drawing more laughter.

When Lee Su-ji asked whether she would rather date someone 10 years younger or 20 years older, Oh said she preferred older men.
