Seocho-gu holds personnel committee Tuesday afternoon, announces promotion candidates including Son Yong-jun and Park Woo-man to Grade 4
Seoul's Seocho-gu district office held a personnel committee Tuesday afternoon to confirm candidates for promotion to Grade 4 and Grade 5 positions, effective July 1.
District Mayor Jeon Seong-su said the candidates were selected based on their demonstrated ability to serve as directors and division chiefs.
Particularly notable among the promotees is Son Yong-jun, chief of the jobs and economy division, who earned a reputation for diligence during seven years as personal aide to former District Mayor Jo Nam-ho in the first term of civilian-elected local government. Son was later promoted from press team chief to Grade 5 and has since led a series of key divisions, including the Naegok-dong office, the autonomous administration division, the welfare policy division, the planning and budget division and the jobs and economy division.
The full list of promotion candidates for the second half of 2026 is as follows. Promoted to Grade 4 (local secretary): Park Woo-man, autonomous administration division; Son Yong-jun, jobs and economy division.
Promoted to Grade 5 (administration): Oh Ju-yeon, audit office; Ji Eun-ju, jobs and economy division; Kim Jin-woo, safe city division.
