The Heaven Resort, a comprehensive tourism and leisure development company, has signed musical actor and singer Cha Ji-yeon as its exclusive model, launching an expansion into cultural projects that blend performance with branding. The resort plans to incorporate Christian contemporary music and gospel content into its portfolio as it grows into a multi-faceted cultural platform.
The company announced Monday that it has appointed Cha as both its exclusive model and official brand ambassador, activating a content strategy that combines live performance with brand promotion. Cha has appeared in musicals including Lempicka and "Seopyeonje," and recently finished as runner-up on King of Veteran Singers 3, a TV singing-competition show.
The first collaboration, billed as "The Heaven·Cha Ji-yeon Concert," was held June 20 at The Heaven Resort on Daebudo island in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. Actor Gong Hyung-jin hosted the event, which drew guests including Far East Broadcasting Company chairman Kim Jang-hwan, president Maeng Ju-wan, composer "Algo Boni Honsu Sangta" and local residents.
Cha performed a varied setlist, including "Tesyeong," "Dungji" and "Bom Nareun Ganda." A collaborative stage with musical actor Michael Lee drew a strong response from the audience.
The Heaven Resort said the partnership marks its formal entry into music content as part of its business portfolio. The company plans to strengthen its planning and support framework for faith-based music — including Christian contemporary music, gospel and Hillsong — as it expands its role as a performance platform.
