Hanam F&B, led by CEO Jang Bo-hwan, said it will pursue a two-track strategy to expand its overseas footprint while strengthening its domestic competitiveness as the company marks its 16th anniversary.
The company currently operates 21 locations across Asia, with a presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia and Japan. It plans to open seven additional locations in the second half of this year — new stores in Laos at Kok Kok Mega Mall and in Thailand at CentralWorld in July, followed by outlets in Bali and Surabaya in Indonesia, Sunway Mall in Penang, Malaysia, and Central City in Mongolia in August, and a further location in Kuching, Malaysia, in November.
"The growth of our overseas business was made possible by the operational experience and stable foundation we built at home," Jang said. "We will focus on further strengthening our domestic competitiveness while also ensuring the stable operation of our overseas locations."
The company said it aims to build a structure in which its domestic and overseas operations reinforce each other. It will apply customer management and menu know-how accumulated abroad to the domestic market, while reflecting domestic operating standards in overseas store management to raise overall brand competitiveness.
On the domestic front, the company plans to advance data-driven customer analysis, upgrade delivery and packaging services, and strengthen digital marketing. It also intends to standardize operations centered on company-owned stores and expand directly managed locations in premium commercial districts to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
"We have grown over the past 16 years on the trust of our customers," Jang said. "We will continue to work toward stable brand operations and customer satisfaction in both domestic and overseas markets."
