Event to cover key points and preparation strategies for rolling admissions; one-on-one counseling also available through the Seodaemun Career and College Support Center
Seodaemun-gu will host a college admissions strategy session for local students and parents preparing for the 2027 university entrance cycle.
The event runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on July 11 at the grand auditorium on the sixth floor of the Seodaemun-gu Office, with capacity for 300 attendees.
Bae Yeong-jun, a public school career and college counseling specialist and teacher at Bosung High School, will lead two sessions: the first covering key points and preparation strategies for the 2027 rolling admissions cycle, and the second guiding students on identifying their own competitive strengths for college applications.
In addition, the district will offer one-on-one intensive college counseling for local students and parents at the Seodaemun Career and College Support Center (43 Susaek-ro) from July 7 through Sept. 11.
Admissions specialists will review each student's school record and mock exam scores to identify viable universities, develop strategies for the six rolling admissions application slots, and provide tailored college planning.
"Accurate information and a systematic strategy are above all essential for rolling admissions success, and we hope this session and the intensive counseling will offer practical help in making sound college plans," a district official said.
Both services are free. Prospective attendees can register for the information session through the notice board on the Seodaemun-gu Office website, and for the one-on-one counseling through the Seodaemun Career and College Support Center website.
